This is my entry for 's "Royal Rumble" contest and HOLY COW I am in love with it! This guy is just so FABULOUS! Heh heh... any how, credit goes to my darling sister for giving me the inspiration to use the Croagunk evolution line and have him become a charming prince. I am so INCREDIBLY pleased that he came out so incredibly... 'charming'... heh heh... anyhow, yes, I imagine his evolution would be quite complex. I'm thinking something along the lines of having it hold the Kings Rock after leveling up from a battle where Sweet Kiss was used on it... and also being male.

Ability: Charm - At the beginning of the match, the opponent, despite gender, becomes infatuated.

Under extreme circumstances a Toxicroak will spontaneously evolve into Toxicharming. Only discovered recently, it was thought to only be a fairy tale creature that wandered the countryside wooing fair maidens with its charm. Its flamboyant nature makes draws other Pokémon to it, often to the point of mild infatuation. It's effect on humans, while minute, is still noticeable. This phenomenon is currently being investigated.
The thin membrane that extends from its dominant hand is in fact made of a similar material to the claws of its predecessor, Toxicroak, and has a very potent venom secreted within. It has been seen using this as a whip by spinning it swiftly and then smacking it against its opponents.

I realise that if I get through into the battle scene part of the contest that this guy will need some general stats so he can either take a hit or lay down the smack down, so here is a general fighting profile of, say, your average stereotypical Toxicharming:

Moveset:

Sweet Kiss (heh heh heh, classic)

Hanky Snap (for his lil' doo-hickey on his arm, I imagine a larger critical hit ratio if it is used before the opponent attacks with a 100% chance of poisoning. Mehbeh... 60 attack? Also, physical.)

Captivate (cause he's so darn captivating)

Swords Dance (you know he'd love to dance for you... plus, he needs all the attack boosting he can get.)

Being a normal type he would be quite vulnerable to fighting moves. I thought this would be suitable as when he evolves his physical prowess lessens to make way for his charming abilities. He has a high speed and a high special defense (coming from his fairytale princely nature and something about staving off dragons belching flame). His attack is abysmal and his defense isn't too great either. His real hitch is his ability and his Hanky Snap.
